Console players are given the option to limit competitive matchmaking exclusively to others on the same type of system, regardless of the game mode they choose. For individuals using PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S, adjusting the crossplay setting is simple. By visiting the Game tab under the Settings menu, a crossplay section appears at the top with a toggle button. Activating this toggle permits the inclusion of PC players when forming lobbies, which is ideal for those aiming to join forces with friends on that platform. Users who worry about encountering higher chances of cheating in some game modes, particularly during Operations, might prefer switching this option off. When the toggle is disabled, match lobbies will still include players from various consoles; mobile players remain separate.
Please note that the PC version of Delta Force does not offer a crossplay toggle, meaning that it automatically connects with all available players. Some gamers on Xbox have mentioned within the official Delta Force Discord community that the crossplay toggle button does not appear as expected on their console. This discrepancy is anticipated to be addressed in future updates so that all gaming communities enjoy comparable customization features.
Account Management and Cross-Progression
Delta Force supports a unified account system that allows players to maintain their progress across multiple devices. All users are encouraged to create a Level Infinite Pass (LIPASS) account, which is necessary for gameplay on PC and is also key to tracking progression as players switch platforms. Linking the LIPASS account to external services like Discord, Gmail, or Facebook provides a reliable means to synchronize unlockable content, including skins and Delta Force Operators. To complete the process, launch the Delta Force application on PC, click the person-shaped icon located on the right side of the launcher, and bind the desired third-party account. Once the account link is established, logging into the mobile version using the same credentials will facilitate progress synchronization. It is recommended to set up a LIPASS account before signing into the mobile client if you plan on switching between platforms frequently.
